Senior Consultant

Jacopo is a Senior Consultant at THRENDS, where he focuses on investment analysis and real estate valuations for hospitality assets. He specializes in hotel scouting and project development for investment funds, owners/operators, and hotel chains. His core activities include operator selection for HMA and Lease projects, alongside supporting investors and hotel chains in developing new opportunities in the Italian market.

Jacopo led a Joint Venture with Stay Investment, a buy-side advisory firm specializing in scouting and deal sourcing for the hospitality sector in Italy, which helped him build a strong network with key players in hotel development and leading international investors.

This expertise in capital markets also positions him as the head of the Hotel Transaction platform, the largest database for hotel transactions in Italy.

Previously, Jacopo gained operational experience and F&B management within major international hotel chains (Maybourne, Melià Hotels & Resorts), luxury operators and Michelin-starred restaurants (GHM, La Madernassa Resort, Abocar Due Cucine).

Jacopo holds a degree in International Tourism and Leisure Industries from Bologna University, earned the Cornell certification in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management and has expertise in Financial Analysis of Hotel Investments, Control of Hotel Real Estate, and Valuing Hotel Investments.

He is also a certified Sommelier and GDS operator.
