Como, rebranding and new openings for Castello del Nero

Podere San Filippo, an 8th century farmhouse located in the municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle (FI) and owned by Castello del Nero, will reopen on 15 June following a restructuring and rebranding. The Podere will in fact become part of the COMO Hotels & Resorts chain. We remind you that Castello del Nero became part of the COMO Hotels & Resorts chain in 2019, following the stipulation of an MCA with the property. The luxury offer of COMO Catello del Nero will therefore include 50 keys and the 12 apartments of Podere San Filippo. The estate is a modern residence for families: 12 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, with fully equipped kitchens, terraces, play areas, swimming pool and of course access to the COMO Castello del Nero restaurant and wellness area.

The COMO Castello offer del Nero will expand further in September with the opening of Villa San Luigi, following a renovation that began in 2020. Also in 2020, the COMO Castello Del Nero hotel structure did not open and underwent a complete renovation of the new center wellness, COMO Shambhala of over 1,000 m2, and the renovation work on the Pavillion restaurant continued. According to the THRENDS Luxury Hotels Database, the chain has in the pipeline (year of opening not yet known) another structure in Tuscany, COMO Castello di Modanella, located in Rapolano Terme (SI), which will be repositioned 5* from 39 keys.
