Russotti Gestioni Hotels, a white-label domestic chain, with currently a portfolio of 5 hotels owned, for approx. 1,476 keys, is Marriott’s most important franchisee in Italy. In recent days the group has announced the rebranding of RG Naxos Hotel, 4* with 296 keys (including 28 suites), located in Giardini Naxos (ME). The hotel has become part of the Delta Hotels by Marriott brand portfolio, marking its debut in Italy. Delta Hotels Marriott Giardini Naxos in fact reopened last 6 April following a renovation that began in 2021, which did not interrupt the structure’s operations, in order to achieve the brand’s standards. In fact, the spaces (lobby, bar, common areas, pool area) and services have been revisited, and FLS (Fire, Life & Safety) regulatory adaptations have been carried out. The hotel has 11 meeting rooms (2,580 square metres) for up to 1,100 people, a swimming pool, a private beach, a Mediterranean garden, two restaurants with sea views, a gym and a spa. The property was affiliated with Hilton until 2018, after which it was re-branded by another international chain. According to rumours, from June the Ortea Palace Luxury Hotel, 5* with 75 keys, will also become part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. As a reminder, Marriott Int. is currently the group with the largest number of hotels in its pipeline in the midscale, upscale, and luxury segments.
