SanPellegrino makes its hospitality debut with a €9 million project.

Sanpellegrino, the historic mineral water brand, has presented a project that would mark its debut in the hospitality sector. The project, worth 9 million euros, has been proposed for the development of Casa Sanpellegrino, a complex that will consist of a hotel and restaurant. The complex is planned to be located in the Paradiso di La Vetta area, a district of the municipality of San Pellegrino Terme (BG), where the company owned by the Nestlé Group is based.

The project involves the renovation of several existing buildings, including a former hotel structure, in an area of approximately 2,600 square meters. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a new building dedicated to MICE activities, featuring a restaurant and areas for meetings, workshops, and events.

The municipality, as the owner of the complex, will grant a 99-year surface rights concession. A public tender will soon be published, open to external parties as well. However, according to local sources, Sanpellegrino would have the right of first refusal.

It is worth mentioning that in San Pellegrino, as reported by “ The Bulletin ” on January 25, 2023, the municipality had published a tender that expired on June 30 for the executive design, completion, and management of the former Villa Giuseppina, which would become the future thermal baths of the area. The municipality’s project included the completion of the works and management for 40 years. In recent months, the Bes-hotel chain, which also manages the Bes Hotel Papa San Pellegrino Terme (a 3-star hotel with 26 rooms) in the municipality of San Pellegrino, had expressed interest in the structure. However, the tender did not receive any bids. Consequently, the municipality will complete the construction of the thermal baths, at a cost of approximately 1.2 million euros, and then seek a manager. The ground floor of the building, owned by the Percassi Group, will retain its ownership and will house a shopping gallery.
