Dea Capital reconverts Cinema Odeon in Milan

The Aedison fund managed by DeA Capital Real Estate SGR, owner of the Odeon cinema in Milan, announced its intention to convert part of the cinemas into retail spaces. The company had acquired the property in 2018 from Fininvest through the Aedison fund, subscribed by Apollo Global Management. The subject of the reconversion will regard the spaces on the ground floor of the Odeon cinema which, according to the first rumors, could see international stores such as Harrods and Galeries Lafayette. The third and fourth floors would be converted into offices, while the underground room 2 should keep its original function.

This would be the third closure, although it is only a few spaces, of a cinema in the center of Milan, after that of the historic Apollo cinema in the Liberty Gallery and the Excelsior cinema in the Galleria del Corso, a space that currently houses the Victoria’s Secret stores.
