Habyt Acquires Quarters

Habyt (formerly Projects Co-Living), a startup that develops and markets all-inclusive housing solutions, has acquired the German “Quarters”, one of the most important co-living operators in Europe, thus bringing its portfolio to over 4,000 units spread over 13 cities, including Berlin, Madrid, Lisbon, Milan and 5 other countries.

The acquisition of Quarters (which last year had to close its US branch and restructure the business in Europe), follows that of the Spanish Erasmo’s Room, announced last February but concluded at the end of 2020, together with a 2 million EUR venture debt round subscribed last December 2020 by the Spanish venture capital Inveready, precisely with the aim of financing the acquisition of Erasmo’s Room.

In July 2020, Habyt had instead taken over the German GoLiving, at the same time as the announcement of the closure of a new round of approximately EUR 3.5 million, led by P101 SGR, a former shareholder of Habyt, and the ITALIA500 co-investment fund (Azimut Libera Impresa SGR).

To date, Habyt has been raising a total of EUR 8 million from investors.
