Augusto SpA, majority shareholder of Aedes Sisiq, had given the assignment to Rothchild & Co Italy last year, as external advisor, for the sale of the entire investment in Aedes SIIQ, equal to 51.25%. As a part of the mandate, Rothchild & Co Italy had to take care, among other things, of the selection process of potential interested buyers to the participation of Aedes SIIq, in the national and international market.

According to press sources, Hines Italia RE expressed an interest in taking over the holding Augusto with a non-binding offer, conditional on the negotiation of acquisition agreements and implementation of a confirmatory due diligence on the Company, in relation to which the Member has granted Hines a period of exclusivity until April 30, 2022. Aedes recalled that the eventual refinement of the sale of the entire stake by Augusto will result in the buyer’s obligation, which will be identified at the end of the sale procedure. We remind you that Aedes SIIQ (BIT: AED) was born in 2018 in following the partial and proportional spin-off of Aedes in Aedes SIIQ and Restart. The company owns a real estate portfolio focused mainly on commercial assets. However there are 2 hotels, both located in the Serravalle area, in the Aedes SIIQ portfolio.
