San Corrado Resort in Noto will open soon. The resort is part of the Relais & Chateaux network and totals 34 keys. It is the only one in the country that can boast a 100m long swimming pool, twice as much the length of an Olympic one.

As far as we know, the company owning the property is San Raffaele spa, attributable to Paolo Gionfriddo, the majority shareholder of S.D.A. 2000, a company working in the automatic distribution sector, with more than 50 years of experience.

Many of the major hospitality players in Italy are currently following a resort pool-centric trend: large and standardized infrastructures are abandoned, and smaller but diversified and specialized facilities are being preferred (sports/swimming, recreational, heated, saline, etc.).

In Noto there is only one 5* hotel, the 8-room Villadorata Country House. In 2019 the structure in question experienced a +11% TRevPAR growth if compared with 2018.

According to its financial statements, the property would have invested approximately EUR 6.3 million in an expansion project of the property.
