Antirion SGR S.p.A. and MPS Capital Services S.p.A. are now working together to open Capitoline CitizenM.MPS Capital Services is supporting Antirion SGR, as a financing bank, on behalf of the reserved closed-end real estate fund called CitizenM Italian Properties.

The project  is  aimed at financing the redevelopment and conversion of a property located in Rome, via Lungotevere de’ Cenci 5-8, owned by the fund,  to be used as a 4-star hotel, that will be entrusted in management by a company belonging to the CitizenM group, which will inaugurate the first hotel in Italy.

According to the press, the property  was owned by INPGI (Istituto Nazionale Previdenza Giornalisti Italiani) and will be converted into CitizenM, the asset had been taken over in January 2020 by Antirion SGR for EUR 29 million, approximately 179.000€ per key or € 6,000 per square meter.
