Accor about to brand Mondello Palace Hotel

Omnia Hotels has secured a financing of 27.5 million Euros to support the Group’s business plan. These funds were made available, equally, by BNL BNP Paribas, acting as the Agent Bank, and Unicredit. According to “The Bulletin” on March 13, 2023, the Hotel Mondial, a 4-star hotel with 84 rooms located in Rome, was sold at auction on March 7, 2023, for 18 million Euros, with a starting bid set at 15 million Euros. Omnia Hotels acquired the Hotel Mondial, and with this financing, they can proceed with the development of the group, including strategic activities such as hotel renovations.

The Hotel Mondial will undergo a complete renovation in 2024 and will offer a lounge bar, two meeting rooms, a gym, and a garage as part of its accommodation services. According to the Chain Hotels Database by Thrends, Omnia Hotels currently holds a portfolio of 7 operational hotels, totaling approximately 950 rooms, all located in Rome and classified as 4-star properties. Some notable hotels in the group include Hotel Donna Laura Palace, Rose Garden Palace, Hotel St. Martin, and Grand Hotel Fleming. All these hotels were previously part of the Loan Group. Omnia Hotels was established in 2019 through a spin-off from the Loan Group, initiated by the Lazzarini brothers, with an initial portfolio of six properties.
