The Nicolaus Group recently announced the opening of the second Italian Lifestyle resort Collection, or the Valtur Gallipoli Beach Resort (THE). The first Italian Lifestyle Collection resort, Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Ski Resort, 5* out of 234 keys located in Valtournenche (AO), has opened last year. The structure, whose inauguration is scheduled for summer season 2024, is located on the beach of Rivabella. The property dates back to the 80s and is subject of a restructuring process that is started over a year ago. The investment total is equal to over Euro 20 million, of which 3 million CapEx by Valtur and the rest a charged to an Apulian real estate group. A time the restructuring process will come finished, the facility will have capacity accommodation of 122 keys, of which about 20 suites.

The accommodation offer will be completed by three restaurants, three bars, boutiques, SPA, lounge garden and rooftop bar with infinity pool. Among the group’s projects is a 5-star resort Valtur Escape, probably in the Indian Ocean, which should be signed in the next few weeks, plus two other Escape projects in Puglia. At present, the group holds a portfolio of 40 Nicolaus Club branded villages, hotels and resorts o Valtur, of which 21 are directly managed or franchised. Of these, six, including two in the pipeline, are from properties, while as many are operated by group with leases. The group Nicolaus, together with the lawyer Macaione dello studio Gianni&Origoni, in order to support it’s own expansion plans, introduced a new affiliation format, «manchising», which unites the characteristics of the franchise with those of the MCA.
